Ingredients

  • 8 slices thick-sliced bacon

  • 3 tablespoon pure maple syrup

  • Cracked black pepper (optional)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Place a wire rack in a foil-lined 15x10x1-inch baking pan. Arrange bacon slices on rack. Bake for 10 minutes.

  2. Brush slices with maple syrup and, if desired, sprinkle with pepper. Bake 10 to 15 minutes more or until bacon is crisp.

Wavy Bacon

Preheat oven to 400°F. For a wavy shape, line a 15x10x1-inch baking pan with foil and create even ridges in the foil spaced 2-3 inches apart. Arrange bacon slices on foil. Bake as directed.
